Start the Bus Murals

Inkygoodness were asked to re decorate the Start the Bus pub in central Bristol. So Lisa took charge and gathered a number of local illustrators to tackle the mamouth task of deciding on a colour scheme, themes and style of illustration required. The team were assembled and over a series of week-ends and evenings the interiors and exteriors of Start the Bus are beginning to take shape. I worked on the sea themed area tucked away in a nice dark corner between the bar and the stage. I painted a selection of decorative fishes alongside the sea creatures of Hannah Baber transforming our quiet corner into a lovely lagoon . It’s looking nice and aquatic now thanks to the help of Lisa Hassell, Hannah Baber and Cami Dobrin. It was fun to spend a week-end in the pub, I wouldn’t mind doing that again.
